Arrival and Dismissal

The morning children will arrive and enter through the main entrance.  They will wait in the hallway with student and teacher monitors until class begins at 8:30.  Class ends promptly at 11:10.  Students will be dismissed to their caregivers at the Kindergarten doors.  Please be prompt.  If you arrive late and the outside door is locked, please pick your child up in the office.  The afternoon session begins at 12:40.  The children enter through the door and bring their folders into the room.  At dismissal, the teachers will walk the children to their buses.  If you are picking your child up from school, please report to the main lobby at 3:10 and sign your child out on the appropriate sheet of paper.  Your child will be dismissed to you when we walk the children down to board the buses.  If your child is ever riding a different bus home, you must send a note and the child will get a bus pass from the office.

We run on a modified schedule if there is inclement weather.  An easy way to check to see if there is a delay is to check the district website which you can easily access through my home page.  You can also watch the local television stations or listen to the radio.  If there is a delay, the morning children will ride the buses on a 2 hour delay.  School will begin at 10:30 and will end promptly at 12:30.  The afternoon session will begin at 1:15 and the children will ride the buses home at the usual time.
