EMIAC

Edward Mulhare International Awareness Club

"For everyone who's anyone."

The Edward Mulhare International Awareness Club (EMIAC) was a Moon High School club from 1980-1987.  Dedicated to increasing public awareness of this great Irish actor, the club performed skits in the All-School Collage and Senior Revue, watched videos of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir and created the EMIAC Olympic Games.  At the end of each school year, the club held a cotillion at Long John Silver's Seafood Restaurant.  Hundreds of students participated in this fun-loving club over its six year existence.

1980:  The club's founding fathers/mothers included Tracy Thomas, Paula Giadella and Chris Buttenschon.  Who could have known what legends would be born from this braintrust?
